I think carriers must be obsolete as well. If a large scale war starts, it will just be a race to see whether it comes from below, straight above, or skimming along the waves. They won't survive the first day...

I would imagine a carrier battle group can emit enough radiation to make drones pretty useless. I am waiting for one of these jihadi's to weaponize one, as they have done in the ME, and use it here against civilian targets like the one coming up. Dropping those mortar rounds by drones was more effective than I thought it was going to be...

Shee-it. TOWs and AT-4/5s have been ruining the day of those fat fuckin' tankers for going on 50 years. Every time the tanks get some type of upgraded armor the rocket scientists make a missile that can defeat it.
