I’ve got a friend that is a warden. He sent pics to a biologist for me. But my question to him was if it counted against my mottled/black limit, or my mallard limit. He said that no where in the regs does it specify a hybrid limit, so technically you can kill 6. Odds of that happening are slim to none. I did take a mottled duck that morning also.

He told you incorrectly. A hybrid counts as the parent with the most liberal limit.......meaning you could have 4 not six with a Mallard/mottled hybrid.
