Our group of 5 are looking into a whitetail hunt in the above states. Anybody have a contact with some decent land that meets criteria below:

- rifle or bow
- we do not want the lodge experience with 17 hunters in camp
- we could rent a place and cook for our house as well
- private land

We have hunted Illinois and Kansas the last 6 yrs and looking for something a little close to home.
