I figured Texas had a strong population of turkeys. Especially with three subspecies Rio Grande, Merriam's, and Eastern.

The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.
"I here repeat, & would willingly proclaim, my unmitigated hatred to Yankee rule—to all political, social and business connections with Yankees, & to the perfidious, malignant, & vile Yankee race."
Can't you shoot turkeys with a rifle there?
NC send those border crossing bastards to die.

Would it make you a socialist if you shot a transplanted turkey on private land?
SCDNoR should have bought these to replace the ones they sold years ago for $800.00 each.
Windows Down!
I didn't know TX had Merriam's turkeys..
F**K Cancer
Just Damn.
Show some love for SC and send some down here.
Buddy of mine moved to Centerville Texas. No turkeys within an 1 1/2 hours in any directions. Too many hogs.
There's a pretty large void between Eastern's ranges and Rio ranges in Texas. When I lived in College Station, it was the same way. Couple hours from any turkeys in any direction. I had some customers there who had some large acreage and they worked with TPWD and NWTF to get turkeys stocked on their land and tried Rios and Easterns at different times and neither made it. Easterns are an uphill battle there too.
And I don't buy for a minute that there are any Merriam's in Texas. Maybe a cunt-hairs worth of hybrids with Rios on the NM line in the NW corner of the panhandle, but I'd have to see a genetic test to believe it.
