I'm surprised Trump hasn't offered the next SCOTUS seat for funding the complete border wall. I know he couldn't make the deal public with RBG still zombie-ing around, but I wouldn't put it past him at this point.

I think Trump knows the long lasting effect of a Supreme Court judge.

I listened to the address. He sounded presidential and put the ball in the democrats' court. He made it pretty evident to even the most uninformed voter that the House is keeping the government closed. I can't wait for the State of the Union address. The democrats know they are going to take a beating in the court of public opinion.

TSA Workers Are Now Quitting Because of the Government Shutdown, Union Says

"Some Transportation Security Administration employees are quitting their jobs as the partial government shutdown continues through its third week, leaving more than 800,000 federal employees without a paycheck.

The American Federation of Government Employees, the largest union of federal employees, representing about 44,000 TSA workers, says some TSA employees have resigned, and others are considering quitting after working one of the busiest air travel periods of the year without pay."
