    Default Quailty Time

Since moving away from home a few counties over for my job about 7 months ago I wanted to get my squirrel dog down here so he'd get hunted way more. Dad came down this weekend to bring him and build a kennel for him. We even got to squeeze in a hunt one morning. Started off very slow in cloudy weather and between 7 and 9am only made a couple trees. Then about 930 the switch must've flipped when the clouds started burning off. Made around 15 trees between 10 and 1130. Woods at this particular place are open with some big den trees and not many vines for shakin'. Managed to find 6 and killed 5 of them. As you can see its still wet. Glad I got to spend some time with Dad and grateful for him building this pen for me. Gonna eventually move it out in the yard once we get a roof on it, will also be adding an external house and small storage space on the back.

Chopper is a Stephens Cur and Lilly is a blue brindle OMC

    Nicely done sir!!!! Love it!

I wish I could breathe life back in him, if I could I'd hunt him again tomorrow. - Ben Rodgers Lee

As a charter member of the Laurens squirrel club (if you could not spell squirrel you could not be in it) I congratulate you, Sir!
