    Default Hunting the Front Question

Looking at Sunday's weather it looks like the high is in the morning with winds shifting mid morning and temps steadily dropping. Good wind all day Sunday with lows in the 20s Sunday night and Monday morning. A friend and I got into a discussion about when the best time to hunt is. As much as I would love to hunt all day Sunday and Monday morning, I do not see that happening. Have y'all had more success hunting all day on a day like Sunday or the first real cold morning following a front like Monday will be?

thats a good question ....With the full moon on Monday, I think, I wonder if they will be ahead of the front on Sunday.

My little holes around here I’ve always noticed better hunts ahead of the front but I’m no duck killer

Some of my best hunts have been right before or during when the wind is coming out the SW. I’ve watched new arrivals dump out the clouds into my decoys many times hunting that wind.
