Walmart on the water. I'll never do another one. Did several and decided that was enough. Most people you see on cruise ships are there for the nonstop food buffet.

I will not do another one because of that. Have gone on multiple without ever thinking about it, but wasn’t so lucky on the last one. Not a good place to have a stomach bug.

you're still way more likely to get the norovirus on land than you would on a cruise ship

So you can't get off a boat in Jamaica with a stomach bug but you can stroll across the border with TB, gonorrhea, crabs etc.?

Had the norovirus hit me mid flight once. On one of those little planes with 3 seats. The one where you have to walk by everyone to get to that tiny bathroom in the back. And some poor sap has to sit beside the bathroom door.

Luckily it was a short flight. I managed to make it to the terminal. But I was waddling through the Columbia airport.

Turned out the guy who worked on my computer earlier that day had a kid with it. After I landed I found out he had gone home earlier. I wouldn't want to be on a cruise ship with an outbreak. That mess spreads quick and packs a punch.

Had it hit me at a Eglebert Humperdink concert (long story, don't ask) in the Palace Theatre. Many of you know that I have a paralyzing fear of public restrooms. I must say, the Palace had the cleanest toilets I'd ever sat my ass on thank God. I was sitting there shitting my brains out & could hear ol Eglebert belting out After The Lovin.

Not a huge cruise fan but Disney does a bang up job.

If you leave out of Miami the boat will be full of soccer moms in scruntch-butt bikinis and thongs. My 3 year old son was happy.
