Pure awesome, what an experience.

I want to take my boy on a similar adventure when he's 16. He's 13 now, do I have ax little time to plan. Any of you experienced westerners have any insight on what states I should look at in terms of ability to draw a tag, etc.

Would like to do mule deer or elk.
