Get a friend you trust to go crank it once a week or so.

My truck is 2017 Silverado 1500. The storage lot stays locked unless a vehicle is getting checked in or out so giving the keys to someone is out of the question.

Headed to Afghanistan for 9 months and I appreciate all of y’all kind words and advice

I would leave mine with one of the guys on here that offered to keep it for you before I would leave it on a lot. Heck, I'll take care of it for you if you want. My son is overseas too and I (and several others on here) know what you're going through. Thank you for your service.

Save the money on the storage fees and just leave it parked on base and go the friend route. Bragg's a big Army base I'm sure there's some parking lot space in a remote corner that don't get used much. We got a few at Charleston AFB where people park their ride while deployed and no one messes with em.

The storage lot is located on bragg. But it stays locked so none of the vehicles get broken into

Roger that. Sounds like your best bet. Be careful in the theater.

Thanks for your service and you have all of th info you need; however, here is a joke I heard thrity years ago and it made me smile:

Before going to Europe on business, a man drove his
Rolls-Royce to a downtown New York City bank and went
in to ask for an immediate loan of $ 5,000.

The loan officer, taken aback, requested collateral.
"Well, then, here are the keys to my Rolls-Royce,"
the man said. The loan officer promptly had the car
driven into the bank's underground parking garage for
safe keeping, and gave him $5,000. Two weeks later,
the man walked through the bank's doors, asked to settle
up his loan and get his car back.
"That will be $5,000 in principal, and $15.40 in
interest," the loan officer said. The man wrote out a
check and started to walk away.

"Wait sir," the loan officer said, "while you were gone,
I found out you are a multi-millionaire. Why in the world
would you need to borrow $5,000?"

The man smiled. "Where else could I park my Rolls-Royce
in Manhattan for two weeks and pay only $15.40?"
