It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Does beating your dog make you feel good about being a poor trainer?

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

“… duckhunting stands alone as an outdoor discipline. It has a tang and spirit shared by no other sport—a philosophy compounded of sleet, the winnow of unseen wings, and the reeks of marsh mud and wet wool. No other sport has so many theories, legends, casehardened disciples and treasured memories.”

LoL. I had a REAL Rottweiler that would retrieve ducks. She would eat them whenever she brought them back, but she would go get them.

    I imagine it's a lot tougher to get a bird out of a rottweiler's mouth than a lab's anyway..

Didn't realize he doesn't come on here anymore. I see on Instagram he's been catching some nice stripers though
