An inexperienced boater is the most dangerous thing I can think of. You are making me nervous that you can’t figure this stuff out with common sense. Be careful and wear a life jacket. Also rip that light bar off your boat and trash it. A q beam is much better. Or maybe you should start off your boating experience in the day light hours first. And a 25 ho might be perfect for you or a 9.9 so you don’t kill someone out there!

I am sorry that my lack of fiberglass repair experience has made you nervous about my boating experience.

1/2" nutsert. They make a tool to install but you can just use a box end wrench, two washers, and an impact to set.

get the gel coat small jar kit, color already mixed from Spectrum. I use it all the time.
I could fix that in one hour and you would never be able to find it after wet sanding and buffing

Figure out a way or another spot to through bolt that damn light. Guy before you half assed it. Don’t make the same mistake. Those rivnuts mentioned would work. But I’d try like hell to through bolt if I were going to keep. I hate half assed shit, especially on a boat.
