    Default 6.5 creedmoor shooters

What is your favorite bullets for deers? I just bought me one and I got 2 boxes of Remington High Performance BTHP 140 grain bullets. Not sure if this would be a good bullet for deer and hogs. Any thoughts appreciated.

I have had much success with the Hornady GMX 120gr Factory loads, However, I am LOVING these Sierra Gameking 130gr HPBT I am hand loading for it, Really good blood trails if you shoot them behind the shoulder . IF the goal is dead deer they are the deal. I shot one Wednesday evening at 172yds Right behind the shoulder and as she ran 30yds she was spilling murder scene blood. The next one that stepped out I shot high shoulder at 150yds and She flopped like a sack of potatoes. I did not like the Barnes 120's in this gun.

I shoot the 143 grain hornady eldx bullets both sportin and orion mentioned. Only shot 3 deer with it but two never moved and one was a low heart shot that didn't go 50 yards and was pouring blood.

I've seen 8-10 killed with eldx and 8-10 killed with bergers, all bled well and died within 75 yards or dropped

    I went with the 6.625

It'll be next years 6.5 after the 6.7's and 6.8's come out.

6.8’s been out for years, 6.8 Short hasn’t been out too long though.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

If you want to in listen to an interesting old man shit all over anything between 6.5mm and 6.8mm, look up “the real gunsmith” on youtube.

I’ve watched about seven of his videos and they turn into him bitching about 6.5mm every single time. I find him very entertaining.
