    Default White / Cinnamon Coon

As part of my trapping program on my plantation, I include Coons...I like to get as many of these nest robbing egg suckers out before Turkey season that I can.

My boys and I had seen this oddity while deer hunting, but he was being quite elusive trying to trap.

    Got 'em now..........

Dan and Ann were redbones, they'd tree a possum or pull up slick.

i had three show up on a trail cam a few years ago. three white ones and one normal color one. they would show up every night together. i set a trap and caught 3-4 regular coons and never could catch one of the white ones. maybe they really are "spirit coons"

Do you sell the coons? I'm sure that white coon would fetch a fair price from a tree'n pen.

I catch 50-75 coons every year...Have no viable market for them are the moment , and I just don't kill wildlife with no better reason than it was just trying to make a living...I have a few competition hunting friends that take some coons for stocking purposes...I usually paint them with blue marking paint to make sure I don't keep catching the same coons...I've found out by this that if you don't relocate a coon at least 10 miles, there's a good chance you'll see it again.

This white and cinnamon coon I've still got in a big cage, haven't decided what to do with it yet...

This one slipped into my dog pen to steal dogfood. My lab said not today.

I would have to fight someone if I caught them relocating painted coons to my farm.

Do the turkey population a favor and shoot those damn things.
