    Default 6.5 Grendel scope opinions

So, I'm certainly not up on the latest/greatest scope options out there. I do have a Lecia ER5 that I really like on a 308.

I have a Grendel that I want to hunt with. Probably 300 yards maximum. I want light weight and a simple reticle. Let's say under $1k.... hopefully well under.

What and where do I need to look at?

    Thanks!

Exactly what's going on mine after the season. With the Firedot Duplex.

The Trijicon 2.5-10x56 that's on it is fine, but too damn big.

I put a Trijicon Accupower 1-8X28 on the 6.8 SPC and it’s badass. Mounted the hog light with the green filter underneath with the switch and it’s a great setup. Haven’t shot it but to 100 yet though.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I run the Vortex Hog Hunter, 3-12 x 56. It is big and heavy but I really like the light gathering capabilities of that large objective. Also it's illuminated.
