Either write things worth reading, or do things worth writing.
I was in north Alabama last weekend, and the damage they have done to some islands on Guntersville Lake is astounding. The trees on the islands look like a fire has ravaged them, they are so riddled with cormorant crap.

Lol - the USFWS couldn’t care less about a Facebook petition.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
While I was at it, I signed the one wanting to abolish the dog eating festival and making lynching a federal crime. If there are others please let me know, those two caught my eyes.

"It is widely accepted that we want our youth to be outside enjoying the countryside and that all pleasure fishing numbers are in decline which will continue if less fish can be caught year on year."
Damn, that's an ugly sentence.

what is the prognosis for this year?
IF IT FLIES-IT DIES
Not going to happen. Not sure it ever will.

Wasn’t the justification for closing the season lack of research/scientific evidence on their impact to fisheries? Has any new research been done since then to justify reopening the season? Seems like evidence would be more impactful than emotion.
And I didn’t open the link.
I believe that petition is directed to the British government and deals with cormorants in the UK, not to the USFWS.
The only good thing about my imperfections is the joy they bring my friends.
Beware the man with one gun...he probably has other faults also.
As I’ve been saying for 2 years.
Give it up ladies, it’s gone.
Focus your energy on improving public waterfowl hunting.
