    Default Xplor boat works?

    Please remove if not allowed.....

Anyone seen one of these XPlor boat works vessels in person or know anything about them?

Apparently they are made around Columbia is the reason I’m asking.

I know the owner (or one of the owners), don't know anything about the boats though. They look good.

Everyone is making a flats boat nowadays, that one looks like a shoebox with spray rails and a platform.

Some side images I’ve seen had me thinking similar.

Saw one image that appeared to be stable for fat asses like me. I really liked my old 16’ HT, but would like something with wider gunnel. Spray rail appears to do its job in the little video clip I found.

Pricing I just found will probably keep me away.

Save your money up and get a Drake if you want a nice South Carolina flats skiff.

Saw the boat and the owner at the CCA banquet here in Greenville, very nice boat with great lines and supposedly very affordable.

Look up the Xplorer project on google. Good film and video
Frankie had two boat builders in Florida build him a skiff to film a fishing show with. The next year later Frankie “splashed” the hull (fiberglass lingo) and started Xplorer Boats.
The spray rail looked silly at first site for me but actually is a nice feature. I built and donated the first poling platform to the project as well as some paddle board holders.
A boat with a 60 Etec and trailer is around 28k
Located by the old skyline club at the airport
