    Yeah. I never hunted it, but grew up and live right near there. THey had/have some big deer on that property also. It was still being hunted up until they built the new neighborhood. Im sure some folks still bow hunt around there.

    For better or worse, golf course ponds seem to be an good indicator for the areas around the Pee Dee.

    If I see divers on local ponds where I don’t usually see them after a cold front it’s time to go hunting.

    I just got back from KY and it as amazing to see that thousands of birds were flying right past the flooded corn field we were hunting to sit in a field that hadn't been planted in a couple years and was slam eat up with smartweed.

    Birds in an area don't mean squat if they want to be 100 yds away from where you're hunting.
