    Default Fertilize now?

A few of the food plots I planted with "Buck Brunch", which is a mixture of oats, annual clover and brassicas, have been pounded pretty hard by the deer already. Would it do any good if I hit them with a dose of nitrogen to try to revive and replenish them?

    Clover doesn't need nitrogen.

A week of warm weather is what you need most of all. Nothing grows well in a cold snap.

Kevin Sorbo is the Toby Keith of Hollywood. He stands for what's right. He's like Kirk Cameron without the baseball bat.

With the short days and cold temps, it's not gonna keep up with browse, N or no N. Put corn out.

The guys that planted it at the club are having the same issue. Deer hammered it and it doesn't help the pigs graze in it like cows.

Dont matter now because its all under water because the idiots at Santee Cooper....rant over

Need a dry spell and sun... It will jump. What does your soil test say?

Little X3-17 be hard to beat if your in a sand box like me...

And plan to plant more if your current plots can't keep up.

Don't have newer soil tests than from the beginning of the year and I won't get new ones until late winter.

I definitely need to plant bigger plots next year in a few areas and I have room to do it. Some of these plot were planted way late so an earlier start next year will help too. I don't really need to shoot any more deer either because the freezer is full. They weren't killing the brassicas until it frosted and then they ate them like candy. I'm just trying to keep them fed the rest of the cold season.
