    No activity in North. Figured they would move early after this rain. Had a lot of pics at 10am last week so guess I’ll wait it out.

    Hang in there. Buddy of mine saw several decent bucks yesterday between 10 AM and 2:15 PM, when he finally chopped down a big 9.

    I hunted yesterday from 10-1 and from 4-6. Sat a hardwood drain midday and saw nothing at all. Hunted a food plot next to hardwood draw from 4-5 and killed three hogs and saw 3 does and 2 buttons. After the hog killing, I moved to another stand overlooking 10 acre dove field and saw another five does and one 1 1/2 year old buck (which had no interest in the does) during the last 30 minutes of light. All to say I think visor is right - didn't see any cruising/chasing going on and there was plenty of bait.

    They will get freed up in the next couple days and be moving some. Scrapes will start being cleaned out again and all that good stuff

    Weather report for my area says lower chance of rain late afternoon. Get out there. There will not be a better day to buck hunt than tomorrow. Forget football and hunt all day. The time has come.
