    Default PitBoss pellet smokers ???

My trusty Masterbuilt electric smoker bit the dust, second one I have had .

Just “kicking tires” other day and saw the Pittboss pellet smokers. Look to be built about like MES and the pellet part intrigues me

I prefer electric and already have Weber nat gas grill as well as kettle grill so not really looking for a BGE or equivalent

Do not do a lot of smoking every year but enough to justify having one

    Pros/cons

If you don’t want a real smoker, just buy another electric. Pellets are something that comes out the back end of a rabbit, not something you should be cooking with.......

We got my father-in-law a Camp Chef for Christmas last year, and he loves it. Pellet grills seem to me more like ovens than grills, but to each their own.

If you want an easy smoker just build an ugly drum

Just got a trager. Lite smoker. Cool smoke at 160 to 180 degrees. Extra smoke flavor use a smoke tube. Google it.
Turn up the heat and it is a wood fired oven. Smoke chicken for an hour and then turn it up to finish. Taste good and stupid easy. It is not a grill.

If a man is alone in the woods, says something, and a woman does not hear, is he still wrong?

Common sense is not a gift. It's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone else who doesn't have it.

This is NOT the PitBoss grill but a vertical smoker.

Really liked my MES but just looking at some other options to replace it since it crapped out. No way I am looking to do competition cooking. Just something I use a few times a year and is simple to use
