Are you seeing sign? How long have you sets been sitting?

Ricky, are you around tomorrow anytime for me to give you a quick call? Hard to explain my frustrations over the www, I think I’ve still got your number from when you were working on some calls for me a year or so ago. Would love to pick your brain a little.

Buy Ricky a few Twisted Tea's and he will talk trapping all night long
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

1/4” would’ve been a difference maker on this one. Adding another trap to this set will catch him.

How far is that track from the pan......I've found 8" from the lip of the dirt hole to the center of my pan to be the ticket.

I usually put the center of the pan about 8-9 inches from dirt hole and sometimes offset a few inches.

The edge of the pan is 1/4” to the right of the track. This was a reset in the dark after a catch had destroyed the catch area. I had to shift the trap over a little to get it to bed firmly. Shows how if you are of the mark it can make a difference.

    Another egg snatcher gone.

Supposed to have someone come out next week and help me set a few coyote traps.

Anyone notice raccoons shying away from a set after catching one in that location? Is it the blood or smell in that area?

They get smart to those DP's, especially if they see their buddy tangled up in it.

Moving them around a little help?
