Bottom deer was infected from the neck to the ass... I've never seen one with so much infection before. Still don't know what caused it bc we couldn't find any puncture or old gun shot wounds.

Definitely a good season and solid bucks. Post up of some pictures of the infection you mentioned in the bottom buck. He looks pretty healthy in the picture.

Didn't get any. Have plenty of pictures of him when he was really solid though. Have no idea what happened... will post pictures off of my phone soon.

Meat looked completely normal but when we pulled back the shoulder, green pus poured out of it. There was green pus throughout the entire deer. Deer was eating corn whenever I shot him... Never smelled or anything like that either other than him stinking bc of the rut. Once that pocket was busted open whenever they were cleaning it though, it was terrible. Wasn’t gut shot or anything like that so I still don’t know what caused it. I know deer lose a right good bit of weight during the rut bc of chasing but this deer didn’t weigh 160lbs, if that. Pictures from earlier in the season show this deer easily 180-190lbs. Beats the hell out of me
