    Default Lottery hunt decoys

It says that the decoys will be provided at the location, but are you allowed to bring your own and use those instead?

I don't know but I wouldn't have my hopes up on them having too nice of decoys there for ya! Doubt they'll be any flocked heads or avian x!

If DNR did provide nice decoys at the beginning of the season, the rednecks that got drawn during the first split made off with them after swapping out their old flambeaus.

Don’t use theirs. It’s embarrassing that they think it’s ok to use those.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

General rule is to pull a Hemmingway and try to cripple the first 5 or 6 ducks and use them for decoys.

Put as many of yours that you can fit in a big mesh bag.

Take about 50 coot decoys and a turkey call. Trust me.

8 mallards and four blacks (keep them seperated) and a dozen ringnecks.

Jerk string and 15 decoys is all I ever take. I typically get drawn later in the season tho so less is more.
