    Default Did Dee-bo quit???

In keeping with the theme today....Dee-bo turned in his jersey today...not playing in the bowl game.

Good talent, and seemed to be a fairly good kid.
Maybe late second, early third round talent...BUT he quit on his team today.

Yes, yes he did. I am conflicted how I feel about that though.

I don’t blame him a bit. Sucks for the team but there is no upside to him playing and risking a career ending injury. Tremendous athlete. Too bad he never knew what it felt like to beat Clemson..

I don’t blame him at all either. No reason for him to play in a bowl game that means nothing.

This. Not a Coot fan by a long stretch, but it's the Belk's Bowl. The only way that could be worse if it was in Birmingham.

    Get paid.

Seriously, it's only an ACC team anyway.

Who cares what game it is? You were selected to play in the game and the team as a whole should play in the game. Loyalty means nothing anymore and it really speaks to the culture down yonder.

You fans think these kids owe you something .... screw that.
They have made the schools 10x what their scholarship was worth.

His future career earnings potentially could be lost if he was hurt in the bowl game that doesn't really mean anything. I guarantee his teammates understand. So maybe you forum jockeys should too.

I hated this when it first started happening, but my feelings have changed. Unless you’re playing in a meaningful bowl game, go get ready for the draft. That kid doesn’t owe Scar a damn thing. You can bet your sweet ass nobody would care if he quit early if he was on the 3rd team.

Furthermore, the MFer can’t form a legible sentence, he needs to make all the money he can playing ball.

Deebo Samuel will be a millionaire in a few months. The only thing standing in the way of that is a major injury. He can't help himself one bit by playing in that mid-tier bowl, but he can hurt himself.

It will happen to every team not playing in the playoff over the next years... including Clemson. I felt much different about Bryant and I would feel much different if it was the likes of one of the senior defensive line... because Clemson does have something to play for.

I believe Gurley left early, he is printing money. Debo will do fine in NFL. They don’t have to know how to read or write, just RUN

He plays for 5akkerliner, their next game is meaningless as was the last one. I don't blame him, needs to make money and have fun while he can. Maybe someone will show him how to save some of it so that when his illiterate ass is done he'll have something to fall back on.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
