My wife and little girl are wanting a Springer for Christmas. The house has been quite for too long since my labs left the earth. Anyone know of a litter?

I can't vouch for them, but they're in Manning and had two litters the second week of October.

Personally, I'd be hesitant of someone who breeds two types of dogs, and has eight dogs in their breeding program.

A DU buddy just got in line for a Springer from the kennel in Manning. He looked all over the place for one and settled on this. Even as far as southern Ga.

I have also been told there is a vet at Batesburg animal hospital that is strong into Springers. That is all I know on that.

I have also been told about a fella named Robin Watson, Tibea Gundogs. The number I was given was 864 991 9680. In Lancaster. I was told he is on facebook if that helps.

Springers, especially liver and white females are very hard to find. If you are in the market for a good Springer, SC isn’t the first place to look, simply because there are few to choose from. My female came from VA and I waited a year to get her. She’s head and shoulders better than any other breed I’ve owned. This is the 2nd time (hopefully) she’ll have a litter, and I had a litter from a L/W female several years back. The vast majority of those pups have gone to SCDuck homes.

You need to do it soon. They are walking and teething on about everything.
Honey...I'll do it after the season is over.

I agree with Saltmuck, I have springer and she is hands down best dog I have had. Shes ten years old now and still ready to hunt. I have a 9 month old son now that I want to grow up with another springer.

That's just because you haven't hunted with an American Water Spaniel......upland or waterfowl.

I'd be talking to this fellow.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
