Why?
Is that the only “church” that bad comes out of? My BIL church just voted to get rid of their youth pastor because she was living with a man and unwed. They lost a major chunk of the church because of this decision.

And they are old school Methodist.

And I should say the church I described above in my previous post is considered baptist.

Good for them for getting rid of the youth pastor. The church and church leaders are the mentors for youth people seeking Christ. We as people overlook sin in our lives and others but the church should not condon or accept it.

This is how a lot of those non-denominational churches start. Pastors are run off from denominational churches when they start becoming liberal and then start their own church with no denominational standards or oversight. This youth pastor and her followers will probably start their own church where "anything goes"!

A suit and tie isn’t going to get you into heaven. A true Christian would welcome the creeps and pop music wear what you want crowd with hopes they find Christ too.

My wife and I volunteer with the youth program at our church, RHBC here in Columbia. We have been with our class since they were newborns and are moving up with them every year.

They require full criminal background checks and extensive training annually. The entire youth wing is outfitted with cameras and staff assisting with every event. The church sports program only will allow coaches that have been in their system for more than 6 months actively coach any organized sport.

It’s a shame that churches can be a place where parents/kids can’t feel safe from sick predators like this monster. There is a special place in hell for people like him

There is no butt raping in prisons. If so, the "victim" becomes a millionaire when they win their lawsuit against the prison for not keeping them protected. Jails have all kinds of inmate rape standards these days.

I'm pretty sure if you're a Christian you're always in the presence of the Lord. The church house is just a gathering place, nothing more.

People like this need to be locked up for 1 or 2 years to give them time to think about their actions, time to repent and get saved then hung on the courthouse lawn.
