So you think DNR is going to write you a ticket for blue interior lights?

So the boat I just bought actually had a led strip in it. although only half the strip lights up.. Is there any brand or link for one yall think are pretty durable ? I have been searching and keep seeing lots of models that have some special type of connector plug, I just want black/red wires at the end.

I found these on Amazon.. but it has this connector cord. Anyone ever get one like this ? I want to know if I use the side that has the red/black wires to connect to my toggle switch and then cut off the end with the plug ?

I went with the cheap Amazon strip lights and they lasted a few years. Like mentioned, even the green pointed down was too much to keep night vision. With the inside and outside on, they’re about perfect for watching rod tips while catfishing. Outside lights are perfect for putting out decoys and chasing catfish jugs. Having outside or inside on while driving will render you blind.

I like a good quality strobe light on my rig, the brighter the better.

I bought those exact Hitlights from amazon. Green will mess up your night vision as mentioned. About 2/3 of both strips don’t work now. My John boat lives in doors too. So they’re great while they last. But I’d expect to replace after 3-5 years. Which ain’t bad for as cheap as they are.
