If you're gonna make all the effort and spend all the money, why you cheap on ammo? If I didn't have SpheroTungsten reloads I'd be shooting Hevi-Shot or at least Hevi-Tungsten.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

We hunted in SEMO over Thanksgiving. Even though there were plenty of birds (tons of Specks), the hunting was poor for everyone we talked to. Dead full moon caused night feeding, warm and bright, and no wind. The last day we hunted, we did kill 2 Specks, 2 Mallards, 7 Teal, and a Spoony. I shot 3 1/2", #3 Rio's, and everything died just fine.

Brushed well in a wide open field. Sat on cushioned seats. Stood to shoot. Better than anything I’ve tried.

What town were y'all near Professor? We hunted east of Kennett last year.
