    Default “Ode to a Truck”

My wife recently had an article published in a Fly Fishing magazine. It’s a great magazine if any of y’all have wives that fly fish or are interested in it. It is like the “Drake” but focused on the woman angler. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the short read

    Great Read.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I too had a "grey goose" an old '88 f-150 with an in-line 6 that was strong as goat piss. It is one of our farm trucks and I was lucky enough to be the only cousin to call it my "first truck." I only drove it about a year until I upgraded to something newer. I honestly hated driving it. It squealed a little on cold days and it embarrassed me some, it also didnt have a cup holder in it and the A/C didnt hit on much, but i lived. I always asked my dad if I could drive his truck on dates and things of that nature even tho most of the time I got told no. I still drive it from time to time moving cows or hay but honestly miss driving it regularly.

    Thanks for the article, MM.
