    Default Stan Lee has passed

I bet his funeral is gonna be pretty cool, hoping that those who have played his various characters show up in full garb and send him off the way he would want to be.
Godspeed Stan Lee, thanks for entertaining a lot of people with your stories over the years and inspiring others to do the same.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

He created a lot of iconic comic book characters and made MARVEL a success.

I just heard this on the radio. He looked good for 95. Talk about a man with creativity.

I've never opened or owned a comic book, but I know who he was.

Never heard of him. Never read a comic book in my life. Guess I was too busy killing shit when I was younger.

Spider Man and Hulk may be his two most famous characters.

Only knew his name because they made a short series called “Super Human” (or something like that) a while back. Showed people doing some crazy shat!! Never looked at no comic books, and haven’t watched a Star Wars since the 80’s, when I’d get a boner thinking dirty thoughts about princess laya (or whatever her name was).

Ain't nothing wrong with know who Stan Lee was. He was a creative genius and a savvy business man. A giant in his industry for sure. You may not know who he is, but I bet you played with toys or watched movies, or watched cartoons based on his creations.

What DJP said. I've never read a comic either but I knew of his work. Reading a comic book involved, well, reading. And when I was kid I'd rather have been fishing or playing baseball, football, anything ending in ball, or frying ants with a magnifying glass. You know, boy stuff.

He made an appearance on every movie that came from one of his characters. Like Iron Man, the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc. They would put him in as some random janitor, or rich guy, or whatever. But you had to know who he was to catch it or else you'd think he was just a regular old movie extra.

I have a ton of Marvel Comics, Stan was an amazing talent and imaginative individual.

From birth until this moment I’ve been too busy slaying deer, slaying beaver, or watching Ric Flair whoop ass on a console television with rabbit ears to read a single comic book. At least until Ric retired. Fortunately I recorded his matches on VHS tapes that I fashioned from box turtle shells and water moccasin skins. I play them on a VCR I whittled from a cypress stump.

But I know who Stan Lee is.

My Mom was a tough education task master, if we were too sick to go to school she would go to the school and get our assignments from the teachers- come home- and make us complete them. As a reward for completing our school work while sick she would go buy us 1 comic book- she believed reading was the window to the world- Thanks Mom for introducing me to Spider Man and Stan Lee, I remember it like it was yesterday, and thanks Stan Lee for all of the adventures you gave to all of us.
