    Default Back Yard Buck

My son Jamie shot this one from my back porch this evening. The buck walked out and started feeding in the green field I have planted behind the house. We saw him from the great room. Jamie grabbed my 308, stepped out on the back porch and dropped him in his tracks. He made a dam good shot. 305 yards. 178 pound 8 point. That is the best buck we have killed on my 56 acre farm.

I’ve been seeing a lot of pictures like that. I don’t care if the bolt is removed and magazine empty and in my pocket, I don’t want a muzzle pointed at my groin.

    Great buck and fine shooting.
