Desert Pete - a song with a message
I hadn't heard this song for years. It's a Kingston Trio song titled 'Desert Pete' (1963). I'm posting a version with lyrics to make it easier to understand. The moral of the song is you have to sacrifice a little and have faith to get what you need.
The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.
