    Default First Buck

I’ve been rather selective over the years hunting deer and try to only kill mature does and bucks. Couple that with limited land to hunt over the last six years and I just never could connect. Patience paid off and I took this one last Monday. Eight point with good mass. 182 pounds. I enjoyed watching him chase six does before pulling the trigger.

    Great job, congrats!
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-
