I won this gun at a sporting clays tournament a while back. Unfortunately they didn't have it at the time but I am told it should be in next month. I'm interested in knowing what people have to say about it.

Does it have that duratouch stuff on it? If so, they've had issues with that on other guns

My understanding it has duratouch on the stock, but all metal is cerakoted.

Ive been looking hard at them. The only reason i havent pulled the trigger on it yet is its a Browning rifle.. All jokes aside, ill probably have one sometime soon.

It’s a Browning X-Bolt with a paint job. No aftermarket support and a mediocre gun. Buy something worth a damn and have it ceracoated.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I’ve shot one. As good as any other rifle in its price range. Had a few Browning A bolts and they shot fine. Plenty accurate for a hunting rifle.

Christensen Arms Meda is the same price and comes cerakoted too just no duratouch on the stock. I've never shot one but from what I've seen online the mesa appears to be a good rifle

Not gonna lie, I'm not a huge browning rifle fan, but I like the looks of these. Been thinking about getting one in 243 just to shoot random stuff with.
