    Default Insane migration!

The sc lady bugs, potato bugs, whatever you call them are swarming in the upstate. I hunted this stand 2 days ago and did not see a one. I bet there are 200-300 crawling around in my stand as I type, on me, and everywhere else. With the sun shining, I see thousands flying on the power line both ways. Never seen anything like it!

What the hell is a potato bug?

You talking about the little red bug with black spots on his little round back?

Yeah. Looks like a lady bug. Most of them are yellow brownish with spots. If there is a trap to catch these things, I could literally catch them by the pounds in this spot. A lot of people have problems with these things getting in their house during the winter.

We get a terrible infestation each fall. Any suggested remedies/pesticides to spray on the house?

Do they have a negative impact on your home?

There will be dozens dead at windows and hundreds gathered in corners of the garage to keep warm before dying by the piles.

Was literally covered in them in the stand yesterday. I’ve seen them get into a house before but never a deer stand like that

I'd assume it was a hatch and not a migration, but I could be wrong. Nature is neat.
