Most idiots don't understand the preference points.........they think they have 3 or 4 points when they may have accidentally reduced themselves to 0......

If you have 4 points, and someone else in your group only has 1 point, then all of you in your group are counted as only having 1 point.

Not exactly true. We started building points 4 years ago as a group of 4. One in our group lost interest so we dropped him off of the application but still retained our points as a group of 3 and were drawn to our first choice this year.

By looking at the harvest reports, they kill very few ringnecks there. Looks about like the most consistent wma in sc for mallards and blacks.

Supposedly the new guy is managing it differently than in year's past. I'll be there 12/8 as well. Will be interesting to see what is different.

I'll be there on a Saturday this season as well. What kind of crops they got in there this year? What are they doing different? I just hope they have lots and lots of corn!

I would say pour one out for the man while you are there but I know that's frowned upon. One of two things will happen you'll limit out or you will be frustrated beyond words.

Our group (2guys) was drawn last year to shoot what turned out to be the week after the freeze up. Skiddish birds would be a major understatement. Wouldn't come within 75yds of any edges, as they had gotten pounded on the river throughout the freeze. Their ponds had just opened up a couple days before. Worked hard for what we got and enjoyed the hunt but returned home with a short strap.
