    Default Draw Hunt Results

Who got drawn? Figured we were due to get selected this year since we've been unsuccessful the past two years, just received an email saying otherwise. Good luck to all that get drawn

Default Let me be the asshole that starts..

Cedar Island 1/10 First time being drawn. Pretty excited for it. If I am the only hunter in my party, will they put me in a blind with another hunter or I'm doing this thing solo?

Hah, I guess I was the quicker asshole. You'll be hunting solo and that's a pretty good draw. Good luck!

Hunted there a couple draws ago and it was a good draw. Bottom was a lot firmer than Murphy. You could actually walk around without sinking to your nuts.

Took 5 years for us, but that's cause we added someone 1 year in. So 4 years I reckon, looking forward to it

Did CI a few years ago. Can't help you on the solo, but I would think they'd let you off by yourself. That place is one of the better all-around hunts I've ever been on. Birds moved hard from daybreak for about 90 min and small flocks passing by after that. Shot pintail, mottled, teal, shovler (partner...), grey ducks, and probably some other stuff. It will be difficult to lay off the teal and grey ducks if you choose to do so, they were thick in our spot. Can't 2nd the comment about soft bottoms, the place we went was soft once you got out of the ponds and the ponds weren't much more help. You'll have a good time.

I do it solo every time and have never had them try to put me in a blind with someone else...
