Where would you rate spinning wing decoys on a 1-5 scale of legal hunting practices that are responsible for more ducks dying with 1 being the most ducks dying and 5 being the least?

Listed in no particular order, how would you rank the following?

    Spinning Wings

    Large areas of private refuge

    Advancements in concealment

    Flooded Grain

Pumping water to keep fields from freezing

My duck hunter side says ban them all, I hate looking at them ... the libertarian in me says I hate new rules/laws. I'm torn.

Is it just spinning wings? What about the swimmers, shakers, and splashers?

[QUOTE=Relentlous;2546909]How will banning them make duck hunting better for you? How do they affect your hunt? Why don’t you push to ban decoys all together

The majority of the birds you kill over mojos are that years ducks

I’ve seen a bunch of idiots with mojos not pull the trigger! That’s dumb to say it’s the number one cause of ducks being killed. I would say flooded grain/private places kill the majority. Which I’m thankful there is the private places around here to plant for the birds, because our state doesn’t give two shits.
And yes I use a mojo and don’t give a damn what anyone says.

So now we are managing/ aging mature ducks?? This is dumb too! I’ll remember next time a bird comes in to my decoys, I’ll give em a pass.

I'm for banning spinning wing decoys nationally. I don't use them and have never bought a spinning duck decoy.
Listen to your elders. Not because they are always right but because they have more experiences of being wrong.
