Caught some in March on Spring Break in College with Main Attraction.

Will be down again in December fishing with Justin Matson on his 33 World Cat.

I have- Islamorada at Christmas trolling live ballyhoo- caught 5-10 per day per boat. Net the hoo at the reef and fish within site of land- the rougher it is- the better the fishing.

20+ years ago, we used to keep a boat down south Nov-late Feb/early Mar. Kite fishing bite on a strong North wind is hard to beat.

ETA:. What info do you need? Charter info? Fishing your boat?

Lived in Fort Lauderdale 2013-2016. Spent alot of time out there especially late Fall and Winter. Mostly fished off smaller center consoles kite fishing, but did about every method as one point or anotherm

As far as where to go? That would depend on when you're looking to go...If December/Jan/early Feb timeframe, I would concentrate my efforts in the Juptier/West Palm/Stuart area. We normally operated out of Singer Island/Sailfish Marina depending on whether we were in the water or on the trailer. West Palm will give you the best options for "after fishing" activities along Clematis St and be right in the midst of Sailfish Alley.

Cant help you on charter info...maybe someone else has been down there more recently than have I....Sailfish Marina runs plenty of charter operations.

Have you even thought about using Google to find charter boats?

If you end up in West Palm/Singer Island...which is my preference.

Fish with: Greg Bodgan....Permitted...he can line up other boats depending on how many anglers you have.

    Stay here:
    https://southsailmotel.com/
Try to reserve the condo on the water....you'll have your own dock, patio, etc.

or here if south sail is booked: https://www.sailfishmarina.com/

    Eat Steaks here:

If you end up down towards Miami I can make that recommendation as well...

Have stayed at South Sail several times and I can vouch for its location. As WT states, get the house on the water...its a 2 BR place and they have smaller hotel style rooms up front that you can add to it for the rest of your party. Two doors down from from Sailfish. Short boat ride down to the three public docks at WPB and directly across from Peanut Island.

ETA: almost left out the most important part....an emphatic second on Rachel's!
