    Default What Gives?

It’s late October, the moon is full in two days, and there is no rail season until November the 5th. I can’t remember a full moon in October, where I couldn’t go hunt a rail. Why would whoever sets the dates not have the season open now? Absolutely stupid.

That’s ridiculous. You can’t get a good enough tide on a half moon to do anything.

Never hunted rails but it’s a 6.2 tide in Charleston November 5th that’s big.

6.2 is about standard these days. I want a 7.2 to go hunt rails.

Well it’s as big as it’s calling for during the full moon for what it’s worth.

Where I go, a 7.0 or better, is what to watch for.

I have my first day off of work in 28 days, this Saturday. I’ll have to find something else to do, before my wife finds something for me to do.

I definitely love my wife. She is the woman that God put on this earth for me, and is the mother of my two sons. Wouldn’t trade her for no one or anything.

You blinked and missed it....it was the first Saturday through Tuesday in October.
