    Default Bamas Automatic Bid

Watching SEC Network this morning. They said even if Bama loses to LSU, Doesn't win the west or the SEC championship, they will not fall past 4. There will be the SEC champs and Bama in the playoffs. Really? So now there are only 3 spots available in a 4 team playoff? Bama has an automatic bid because?

They have beat the brakes off of everyone they played.

Look at the rest of their schedule. LSU is their only real opponent.

LSU will be lucky to keep it within 4 scores. I think that’s what there saying.

LSU’s only chance of making it respectable is being played in Baton Rouge.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

...or Tua not being 100%. He missed a few throws he'd normally make in his sleep because he wasn't stepping into his throws. Something to keep an eye on.

Not knocking Tua BUT when you have an O line that gives you 4-8 seconds every down it makes life easier, MUCH EASIER

When he wins Heisman this year it should go to him and his O Line.

Like it or not have to agree with Bama being in 4 team playoff if they only have 1 loss , now IF THE CITADEL beats them I will reconsider

If a team is ever going to run the table Alabama will do it this year. Only thing that could slow them down is an injury to Tua. Then the odds of them running the table might drop from “most likely” to “probably”

They've already made the "final four" twice despite one late loss and not winning their conference. That SEC commentator was basically telling us history will repeat itself perhaps and that we shouldn't be surprised imo.

Is there anyone anywhere that thinks Bama isnt one of the best 4 teams? Even with one loss?? They gotta lose two games to “maybe” miss the playoffs. With either qb.

With Tua the best, bar none. Without Tua, probably the best.

There are only 2 open spots.

One is bama’s the other is Notre Dame’s. Know Dat.

And. ND will not be # 4. Too much $$ riding on it.

Watson, without a doubt. He had to make a lotta plays on his own, and he routinely played his best against the best competition, i.e. 'Bama. Plus, he's unflappable; it's nearly impossible to rattle that kid.

Yall are missing the point. If a 1 loss conference champ can be left out for a 1 loss non conference champ, then why use conference championships as a reason for playoffs? Would they let Clemson, Ohio St, Oklahoma, Michigan, or any other team in with 1 loss and no championship? No. So why does Bama get that advantage?
