    Default Circle Hook

The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.

When I was younger my dad always carried a fishing pole around in his work truck. Every now and then, if they had some time and were around some water, he and his partner would fish some. They were sitting on the bank, one evening, bottom fishing for catfish and my dad needed to rebait. When he went to throw the rig back out, the line went slack and his partner started screaming. My dad had hooked the other guy in the upper eyelid, with a treble hook. Off to the ER they went....

    Kite bait.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

My hand caught the trail hook on a rig with dolphin off the gaff still attached. I was luck I had no nerve damage. Happened first thing in the morning and I rode around all day with a 7 aught J hook in my hand.

They should use wire on that hook if they want to land a big shark.

They work well and you don't even have to "set the hook" - just start reeling.

Never leave the dock without a pair of bolt cutters if you’re fishing with offshore tackle.

Our bolt cutters didn't cut it. Had to meet up with Boo Daddy.

By the way, if it happens to you, do not bolt cut them off. Leave the hook in and let a doctor handle it. If you get the tiniest metal shaving left in your body it can cause problems with infection that can be severe. Put a lot of alcohol on the wound and hook to try to prevent infection and get thee to a doctor. At least that is what my doc said. And he is a good Greenwood boy that moved to Mt. Pleasant years ago who loves to hunt and fish. He did Neil Cost's hip replacement.

First time I've ever seen a circle hook actually "hook" anything.
