In fairness, Bentley had some drops. IMO, he wasn't the problem on Saturday. You win as a team, you lose as a team, and my Gamecocks have found ways for everybody to be responsible for a loss from dropped passes to punt returns fumbled to a habit of letting a TE drag your for 15 yards several times a game. None of what I've listed is the coach's fault.

On the brighter side, Carolina played the best third quarter against a good team I remember in awhile. They could've folded but they didn't. Yeah, it's a moral victory. But it's also true.

They’re a 3rd quarter team. Plans include playing a 2nd or 4th but they’re not going to rush anything.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    careful here...

although both games ended close, there is no logic in this world that suggests these two teams are even close to being on the same level. check the stats. keep the excuses to yourselves.

i thought usc played A&M pretty well in the second half. I didnt pay that much attention to the game but was surprised to see Bentley in there the whole time. In the end, it must've been the best coaching decision, though.

I think most will agree that Clemson is still a good bit better than USC is.

Bentley is so hyper and inaccurate early that they have to play catch up in most games. That doesn't work against good teams.

Muschamp should start the other quarterback and then bring Bentley in the 2nd quarter or 2nd half. It would be worth a try.

I hate it and know it will change but right now this is just where it is.
