Right on. Lots of wind out there at long ranges

i cant read all this bc I dont understand ballistics and stuff...but did anyone ask how you "knew you missed?"

I am an asshole, apparently, but I absolutely will not sit at the clubhouse when someone comes in and says "i missed."

I have found lots of people's misses before.....

so, before you get it in your head that you have to "aim low" (for the bowhunting crowd), I would regain my confidence at the range and fully expect to kill every damn deer I shoot at with a high powered rifle.

edited to add: i read it and see someone else mentioned it. you are still overthinking it. that's a poke and lots of variables. maybe move your stand? ha, just kidding since that horse has been beaten senseless.

Now explain how the hell you're a walmart hunter if you handload and dont shoot with a Tasco on top... sounds like you may have just rushed the shot.

Sorry, some people are just ignorant..

I carry a trigger stick anytime i climb up in any stand. Never realized what I was missing..
