    Default Milwaukee

Has anyone here dealt with Milwaukee's warranty? I've got a 12v impact that has lost power and not working like it should. It is an older tool, so it may just be time for a new one, but I wanted to see if anyone had dealt with potential replacement or getting it repaired.

I thought of that and stuck another one on the charger, and low and behold it is still not right. Maybe they all need replacing. I have two of the standard ones and then two of the extended life batteries. All same age, etc.

Thanks for the input, I might try and borrow one and see if it improves.

    What Steelin said.

Can't say as I've ever warrantied anything out through them as my Milwaukee tools have never given me trouble. Some of dads Milwaukee stuff has pretty good age on it and he has ordered replacement triggers for saws and brushes for drills from a small supply house and Milwaukee dealer here in town. Going to a place similiar to that would probably be your best bet to see what your options are.

ECU is your man to answer that question, but I don't think he's with them anymore. If you need to send it back for repair or warranty service you can do that online yourself or you can go to your nearest service center and they will send in for you.

I have had Interstate rebuild batteries for me in the past. But you could most likely replace them through Amazon for less.

    ECU can hook you up.

ETA: Just saw LL's post. If he can't get you squared away, I'm sure he knows someone who can. Depending on the age, it may be time to just replace.
