I would rather watch a fine tree dog work than I had kill a grand slam of turkeys or kill a record book buck

To each his own.. If you moved west, maybe your dogs would be smart enough to become Lion or Bear dogs.. maybe.

Once you stand under a tree with a pack that have treed a big Cougar, I promise you a squirrel won't move much blood.

The squirrel itself doesn't do a thing for me as it is now. I just want to see and hear a dog work.
But yes, a cougar and bear hunt with dogs is on my bucket list I assure you.

The only problem with Wyoming and other similar states is that it’s a lottery just for a deer tag. You may not even get to deer hunt each year.

You can deer hunt every year in Wyoming.

I can’t leave SC. I’m 10 minutes from the beach. In 15-20 minutes I can be in my boat catching flounder and trout. There’s plenty of ducks around here to get my fix.

Alaska by a big margin! You get all the hunting and fishing without the crowds of other folks trying to do the same thing. Seasons are long, limits are liberal, and game is a plenty!
Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL

West Virginia. Not the biggest mountains, but beautiful nonetheless. Tons of trout streams, a fall turkey season, a long deer bow season, several bow only counties for a chance to shoot a big old deer, and a ton of rivers for waterfowlers or boaters in the summer. Skiing and sledding in the winter, too.
