    I'm not trying to be a douche posting this thread because I know of the mixed emotions with this topic, but is there any SBE III owners that have had the issue with it "shooting high"? I was thinking about purchasing one but now with all the buzz lately, I don't know what to think.

    I don’t own one, but it’s been pretty thoroughly covered that a good mean of them shoot high out of the box. There’s a way to fix it.

    Benelli has easy instructions of how to fix it. If you like the gun that’s not a reason not to buy.

    I wouldn’t buy one with the issues they have. I can’t see an advantage of the SBEII.

    If it's an easy issue to fix then benelli should be handling that before they ship them. $1800 and having to do anything to the gun out of the box is laughable. Death, taxes, benellis with issues and rednecks defending them to the grave.
