    Default The Vote

Isn't the initial vote for K sometime today? Then they debate it and final vote tomorrow...or something like that.

What time is the vote today?

1030. The big time players are giving floor speeches now to see who can drum up the most in campaign contributions.

Vote today is for cloture I believe then they have 30hrs to hold the vote. Senator from Montana will not be there during the day Saturday, his daughter is getting married. But has told Kavanaugh that he has his back whatever that means.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

The cloture vote is happening now. The senator from Montana said that he would be there to cast the final yes vote, if necessary.

    51 - 49 is final vote.

1 Republican voted no, but Manchin voted yes. Final vote for confirmation should be around 5 tomorrow afternoon.

Murkowski voted no. I just sent her an email letting her know that if she votes no tomorrow, I will be sending her next primary challenger as much money as I legally can. Took two minutes. You may want to do the same.

It is reported that they could hold the vote open until he made it back from Washington to cast his Yes vote for Kavanaugh. If it comes down to him being the "deciding vote", he better have that plane inspected REAL good. Trump should have Air Force One ready to pick him up

They didn’t get the drop. Those of us that know knew when we knew and baked the bread from the dough and made our sandwich already.

[53-47] = 6 which was 6 more days to confirmation. He nailed it.

Collins is saying she will give her final answer at 3:00 PM on how she intends to vote tomorrow. I'm betting she is a No vote tomorrow. I don't think any other votes will change between now and then.

We should have just voted last week. The result would have been the same. Pence may need to get his vote ready.

So that'd make it 50/50 with the tiebreaker going to Pence right?

Correct. So in the end it won't make a difference, which makes her vote a political stunt.

Since when did politicians start announcing times to reveal how they'll vote? It's like a damn 18 year old athlete announcing "where they'll take their talents next year"?
