    Default Turnips in soybeans

I've got about 5 acres of soybeans loaded with pods but no leaves. I really hate to disc in all the beans because I know the deer will hammer them later on. I've heard of broadcasting brassics and wheat in the standing beans before a rain and it still grow. Worth a try or waste of time?

I've seen it done prior to harvesting beans and it worked great. Obviously you won't even have the leaves. But I found giant ones around the edges of the fields including in my bermuda grass. I'd try it.

Go look at a newly combined wheat field after a couple good rains. It'll be greenin up real good like from combine losses. As for brassicas I've always got a good catch of wild mustard without disturbing the soil. I figger you're good to go.

Thanks fellas. Might do a little spraying prior to broadcasting.
